Preacher and the lawnmower

One day a preacher was riding his bicycle when he noticed a boy about 12 years old pushing a lawnmower down the street. He stopped the boy and asked if he would like to trade his mower for the bicycle. Sure the boy said. They traded and went on their ways. The next day the boy rode by the church where the preacher was trying to get the mower cranked. He pulled and pulled and pulled on the rope but it wouldn't hit a lick. The preacher stopped the boy and said "this mower is a piece of junk. It won't even crank". The boy said "have you tried giving it a good cussing"? The preacher said "son, I've been a preacher for 30 years. I don't even remember what cuss words are". The boy said "keep pulling on that rope. They'll come back to you".
