Stress crack on top cap

I've got a 2019 Z18, and I noticed I have a stress crack on the top cap, passenger side, right where rod locker ends. There is a black strip that runs around deck lip looks like its held on with some kind of rivet? The crack is coming up from there and going onto top cap. I thought it was a scratch from a tree or a rod. Nope.

I need to check my warranty but I'm almost certain it's not covered.

Anyone else having this issue with 2019 or 2020 Nitro?

Gel coat has a 30 day warranty same as any brand. It's not necessarily a "stress crack".
