    T1 prop cracks

I’m running a T1 25p prop on a 2015 225 SHO. I noticed today that the casting around the hub has 3 cracks. They are right beside the 3 stand off that go out to the prop itself ( if that makes any sense). My question is has anyone else had this issue? I’m just wondering if this is a known issue. Guess it’s time to order a new prop any suggestions on a good replacement for a heavy loaded ZX225 skeeter with a heavy driver?

I'd love to try PowerTechs new T1 4 blade "VMX - 4 BLADE.". I'd consider this prop.. But I like to try new stuff.

Thanks for the info, I guess I should have put this in my OP the prop I have had a amazing hole shot and Top end is around 68-69. So wouldn’t going to a 4 blade slow my top end down some? I’m only asking because I honestly don’t know a lot about props and trying to get that peak performance since I’m having to get a new prop. Or am I thinking backwards on that? Like I said forgive me if that’s a dumb question but it’s something I don’t have a lot of experience with.

I slung an ear about 3 years ago and could not find a T1 to replace it. I bought a Solas Scorpion to get me by until I could find T1 Once installed, I ran exactly the same rpms and speed. I'm still running now.

With those cracks your top speed is now 5mph.

I wouldnt trust it, good eye though and way to inspect things before they break.

Start hunting for a new one, prepare for sticker shock.

Pulled up the web site and couldn't find this prop. Is the site not up to date or is this a special run? I have an interest in this baby!!
