    St Lawrence Guide Recommendations

Hey guys, just got to the Syracuse area. Stationed here for the next 5 months for Air Force training. I had big plans of bringing the boat out and fishing all New York has to offer but my lower unit went out on me 2 weeks before driving out from North Dakota. This may be one of my only opportunities to take advantage of the smallmouth out here. Does anyone have a guide service recommendation for preferably the St Lawrence? Thanks in advance!

I've gone out twice with Dean Meckes, he's a great guy to spend a day with and has a wonderful Ranger 522D - a beast of a boat.

Tell him that Tim and Tim recommended him.

Joe Raymond is up there now. Let me see if I can get you his info. Are you doing training at Drum?

I've fished with Dean 3 times. He's a good guide. Just be aware that he will be fishing along side of you during your guided trip.At least that has been my experience, even with 2 clients in the boat.
