    Dawia Zillion TW HD review

I am looking at this reel for line capacity and drag rating.
And hope to get extra cast distance.
wanting to throw 10” - 12” worrms deep water application.
    using 25# fluorocarbon line
Anyone have experience with this reel with 10” worms .5/0 hook and 1/8 or 3/8 sinker?
Hope to get distance without as much effort.
My Shimano Calais CL 200 is good but but with heavy line and heavy worm rod it take lot of effort to get my distances .

I haven’t used that particular zillion but I seriously don’t see how you could go wrong with that reel for what you need, especially now that it has the magforce z braking, looks like an absolute tank. Been thinking about trying one for small swimbaits.

I like the Daiwa Tatula 150 for long casts with thicker line.

Another option is the Lews BB1 Pro. The new model comes with a long crank handle and large knobs which I like.

I like both reels for what you are wanting to do.

Just ordered a Zillion and will give report in a few weeks.
really like the Dawia tournament drag! Smooth
I have a coastal hd with the tournament drag of 15 #.
Sure like how you don’t have to use upper end of drag setting when fishing thick timber to get stopping power.
Yes looked at the Tatula 150 and lews reels but decided on the Zillion.
i hope the extra $$ spent shows up on the lake.

The Dawia Zillion tw hd can hold 150 ft of 25# invisx and 200 ft of p line fluorocarbon in 17#.
The reel is comfortable for its applications of hd use.
After line gets some use and starts laying out flat, all is well.
I can cast all I need on distance with heavy weight iwith ighter sinkers on 10”/12” worms.
Able the throw a 10” weightless zoom ribbon tail worm 80 + ft.
What that means is less work for 60 ft cast!!
Uning a falcon Cara amistad rod.
This reel can do what I needed.
    Great drag system!!
