    lowering a leaf spring axle?

axle.jpg I just had my Stratos trailer converted from a torsion axle to a leaf spring.
with the new axle the boat sits much higher than it ever did almost 1-1/2" higher

Can I lower the trailer frame by relocating the front bolt lef spring eye about 1" higher?
I would do this by drilling a new holen above the existing one?

Is there another way? maybe removing leafs? or??

Put the axel on top of the springs. Make sure of the tire to fender clearance.

Yep looks pretty cool. I assume you hook an airline up to it.

Get an axle with a rise at the end. It looks like the axle you have now is straight.

^^ This ^^ it looks like you'll still have room for your tires to clear the fenders. Did it on previous trailers.
