Thinking about making a day trip to Mille Lacs either this weekend or next, haven’t been since early June... anyone know how the lake’s fishing recently? Any tips? Mostly fished from the casino north this spring along the west side but I would think the better fishing is out on the rocks now. Thanks for any input

Had to cancel the last trip, looking at heading to Mille Lacs this weekend or one of the next couple. Anyone been on the pond? Water temps falling with the cooler nights now or is it still in the late summer transition to fall?

Was there last weekend. Action was good but they are still deeper...18-20 as of last weekend. They should be moving shallow v soon.
I have heard good reports, starting to group up, so may take awhile to find them but when you do, been pretty good
That’s good to hear, I’m going to try for this weekend and see what I can find. My experience at Mille Lacs has been hot and cold but it always keeps you coming back
