They just put a warning out for this weekend,,after testing the water.. Be aware of blue green algae..not to get head in water,,shower and wash after getting wet..don’t get water into cuts,,don’t let pets drink from lake.

It’s small and crowded, so fish where there are places to cast.

Leave your frog at home, the weeds are completely gone now. Was there Labor Day weekend and had to stand in line to fish. Two boats on every point, hump or stick-up. Parking lot was packed by 7:30AM. The blue-green algae hasn't slowed anyone down. People were dragging their kids through the stuff all day. I recommend a weekday trip if you can arrange it, it's much less nerve-racking without the 275hp pontoon barges and gurgling V8 ski boats running up and down the lake... but I know sometimes you have to take what you can get.

Weeds will be back as they sprayed. Labor Day is about over with for another year! Now it can slowly get back to normalicy.
