Low Round of the year today!

Wife and I played 18 today after getting a few errands out of the way.
Lesson from assistant pro 2 weeks ago.
Triple bogey on the second hole after starting with a par.
bogied 9 but par on the other 7 holes for a 40.
38 on the back with a birdie on a par 3.
    Sweet 78.
Index is now 6.9 and handicap will be an 8, both a new low for me this year.
Played the front nine with my normal ball, Callaway Chrome Soft.
Played the back nine with a Pro V1 which I have not played for years but got a free sleeve at the tournament the other day.
I must say the Pro V1 felt good, went true, no side spin and played very well for me. Seemed a little longer on the drives, but that could also be the lesson taking hold on my driver.
    The ball Felt lighter.
Still have 3 left and will play them more to see if I need to make the switch.

It feels good to play a good round of golf. I play titleist proV1 or the proV1X. I have tried some of the other brands but always come back to titleist. I played with the titleist true feel and didn't care for it.

A freind of mine was in a Goodwill store a couple of weeks ago and picked up 5 boxes of new Pro V for 8 dollars a dozen, he gave me 3 dozen . :)
