They was rated 175 I think for one year .Then dropped it down to 150
If an x19 can max out at 200, you'd think an 18 could handle a 175.��
I think 2017 or 2018 they were rated for 175. Got an X 18 on order, 8 weeks and still waiting, with the 150 but wish it still rated at 175.
I purchased an X18 Pro this year with the 150 SHO and 6" Jackplate. There is plenty of motor for that boat. If you fish larger bodies of water or an avid tournament guy, I would go with the X19 I went from a 19.5' Glass boat to the X18 and realized I missed the extra room and 200 SHO on tournament days. Outside of that, I was shocked at how smooth and comfortable the X18 was to drive for an aluminum boat. Good Luck.

My Father in law has an x19 with a Yamaha 4 stroke 150 and it runs great! Of course we fish in South La in small canals where running over 50-55mph is rare.
