    Lake Gaston off shore help

Been trying to learn some new things. Having NO luck.

Graphing and finding fish on ledges, brush piles, etc off shore. But can not catch any to save my life. Have tried dragging a worm, football jig, lizard. Small paddle tail swim baits too.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Try a shakey head with a heavier head and use either a Missile Baits Quiver, a Zoom Magnum Finesse Worm or speed tail worm. Or try throwing a deep diving crank bait down there.

So Son wanted to try jug fishing. We went to one of the spots that I have marked on a ledge that had fish. Catfish,, The saga for off shore bass continues.

My son did have his best morning so far.. Rattle trap and a big worm. He wore us out. haha He also caught a stripper on a rattle trap, small on (12in).

The off-shore bite is best when they are moving water.
