99 Ranger (461vs) Trails Trailer brake parts ?

    Hello ,

My son Just acquired a 99 461vs (19'boat) , trailer brakes entirely removed ! I want to reinstall but suspect that there may be an axle alignment issue as well. For this reason I'd like to get some cheap, returnable parts to try for alignment. I know my old 95 488vs trailer used something like 92 Mitsubishi disc brake parts, or something like that ???. Does anyone know what this size/year trailer may use ? Would like to pick up some cheapos at Oreilly or Autozone.

    TIA !

This is from memory, not actual use. I had a 97 462 and recall someone posting that the brakes were from a smaller Chrysler corp auto like a '72 Duster. Maybe an actual user will post.

Yeah, I think we are thinking along the same lines. Older small chryslers/Mits were in bed together on some vehicles.

The pads are automotive, but you’ll need trailer calipers to fit the mounting.
If you have integrity, nothing else matters. If you don't have integrity,

The calipers and parts (including pads) are UFP and available from online trailer retailers.
