Why Do My Arches Look Like This?

I didn’t want to hijack the “what do fish look like” thread.
So why do my dish arches look like this? It started sometime in March. Using the factory installed Lowrance shoot-through hull transducer on a Gen2 touch 12.
I’ve tried adjusting and resetting the unit.

They’ve never looked that “raggedy” (for lack of a better word). They used to look like the first sonar picture in the “so what do fish look like” thread.

If this is from a transom mount transducer I would say it is worn out:



If it is from a shoot-through, I would say it could be worn out, or badly placed.

Your filtering seem way off as well. General noisefilter should be off, surfacefilter should be off or low. Then try again. :)
