    Rod tube removal

    Just wondering if you that have removed your rod tubes, have now opened up, and allowed gas fuses to get in rod compartment? I just don't want any gas fumes getting in, if I removed mine.
    Also a lot of wiring at bow area, rods can hit and work loose.

    I removed mine the first day I got mine. No fumes in my boat ! It’s not a triton you know .

    Must be someone at caymas thought fumes can get in, and wiring damage possible. 2021 caymas boats have enclosed rod areas all the way to the front bow now.

    On the CX20 can you specify a rod locker on the starboard side also? I don't like using that locker as storage. If not wondering if the forward bulkhead can be cut open to allow rod tips to fit thru.
