Saint Clair ramp fees. and recommended motels

Out of state boat, what fees or permits are needed to launch a boat. Will be staying in Roseville area. I am thinking the DNR ramp CRCO or perhaps??
Have stayed at the Roseville Red Roof Inn in the past. It is OK but I am considering bringing a boat this trip (May of 2021) The Red Roof though "boat friendly" is a bit crowded. Many boats have to park in the wooded area behind the motel and string cords 100+ feet and they have to run out of doors or windows. Not the best idea. Without breaking the bank are there any suggestions for boat friendly with security not being a big concern in the Roseville area?
    Any information or suggestions appreciated.

There is a sticky up top for lodging recommendations. I think it is $6 a day to launch at the dnr ramps, but not positive, it could be a little more.

Thank you Gary. Do you have to have the pass port and then pay a fee to launch each day?

No, the passport is the entry pass for all of our state parks and DNR run boat launches. Launches like Harley Ensign and CRCO are DNR ran so the passport is all you'd need. If you go to a county (Metro) or city launch (9 Mile) those fees would be different.

Thank you for the clarification. We don't have many ramp fees in this area. Only a private boat ramp will have a fee for the most part.

You're welcome. Here we have a lot of DNR ramps so it's worth the cost, especially for residents that only pay $11 annually.
