    1988 GT-183

Looking to put an electric trolling motor only boat together to fish our local club. Just found a GT-183 for $2500. W/O a big motor. Is there anything that I should look deep into on this hull? How would I know if its water logged? Like I mentioned I'm only putting a 36 trolling motor up front and using it in our local "electric" only club. Does the price seam fair?

It's not doubled hulled foam filled so water log shouldn't be an issue. Check the floor around the drain for softness.

The floor dead center line of the drain going forward was soft, only about 6" wide, but from the drain in front of the seat to about 4' forward. both sides of the floor were rock solid. I got him down to $2,000 so I picked it up. Has a very clean "bench" seat that I'll put up for sale as well as a very clean aluminum gas tank mounted in the rear. (looks factory installed)
