    Angry Wife's projects

My wife retired about three months ago and has lined up some projects for HER to do. Well today we went and got thirty bags of dirt and compose. After stacking it on the cart, loading it in the truck and unloading it at home she is already hinting that she will need some help. All HER projects involve working in the yard and flowerbeds. I HATE that kind of work. Any suggestions to get me out of this mess?

While my wife and daughter were away for a week, I tackled painting the bathroom which involved fixing a horrible drywall job in there - replaced over half the taped joints. Upon coming home my wife was pleased and said now we can replace the flooring, the toilet, vanity top, sink, window blinds, paint the trim....... I thought my job was done but it was only just beginning.

Sounds like my life's story. All my wife's projects turn into 'our' projects.

My list of things to do grows whenever I get one knocked off. I've learned to not knock any off.

My best advice is to suck it up and help her. It might just work to your advantage.

This is every man's problem. I told my wife and one of her friends that just because you say it doesn't mean it can be done.

    So many truths here!!
Count me as one whose wife's projects become mine!
Drives me nuts...you have no idea how many carpet stores I've been dragged to in the last 6 weeks.

And what about making decisions? As men we're looking for a YES or a NO!
