I have what is suppose to be a new SHO VMAX T1 on the way to me. It should be ventless from what I understand as well. How rare are these props and do they need to be worked like the T2 to run good?

I guess it must be rare if nobody knows anything about it. I hope it runs well.
What I am reading this is a ventless T1 but not a "SHO VMAX" just a VMAX.
Yes the original sho prop was vmax and yes ventless
If it ends up like the regular 25 T1 not many people run them because they broke in the hub and get used as door stops that's why they make a T2. Call Mark Croxton and ask about having it worked.
I have one (25P) on my 2010 Skeeter FX21. I do understand there were a lot of them that cracked or even slung an ear. Mine is (knock on wood) perfect and a great performer. I get right at 75 mph gps with just me, full tanks, empty livewells, and 10 rods and reels and heavy tackle bag. I have been offered over $700.00 a few times for the prop. I won't sell it and hope it never cracks.
It is what they said it was.

What is that going on? Looks like a baby prop. Does that say 15 or 13 on it. Box says 26
It’s a 26 pitch 15 1/8 going on a 250 SHO. I am replacing a Solas scorpion and need to find the right thrust washer and hardware kit for the T1 on the SHO. The thrust washer for the scorpion won’t fit. I have the
old style brass thrust washer but read those won’t work with the SHO 250 LA?
You probably need the two piece washer.
The original t-1 ventless that had a spiral supports in the barrel are the good ones, the one’s with the straight barrel supports are the ones to stay away from
It’s a ventless T1 looks to be the straight barrel supports. Guess I should have asked first. Should I run it or can Croxton make it right? It looks like a demo maybe ran once.. Still in the box. It uses the small style thrust washer. I have a one piece brass that seems to fit but the aft washer from the scorpion downs seem to fit. I am not familiar with the two piece thrust washer is there a part number?

One of my best props is a 26 T-1 worked by Mark Croxton. On a T-1 you require the one piece thrust washer, front spacer, washer, nut and cotter pin. Here's the part#'s and sticker shock. That is the one piece thrust washer.
Spacer #60X-45987-10-00 $90.25 (Thrust Washer)
Spacer #688-45997-01-00 $39.35 (Front Spacer)
Washer #92990-18200-00 $ 1.95
Nut, castle #90171-181904-00 $16.20
Pin, cotter #91490-40030-00 $ 3.45
Thanks for the info. I’m will get those parts ordered and let you know how it goes.
Sorry for the late reply. I've never had the prop touched. The original owner of the boat may have but I doubt it. He and I spoke a couple of times after I purchased the boat from a dealer and he didn't mention ever having the prop worked. He did ask me if the 25P T1 was on it and when I said yes, he said that was a good thing, that the prop just always ran really good and he thought the dealer might have replaced it with something else since they were bringing some pretty good money. Good luck!
I have this one piece thrust washer that I got from Croxton a while back to run on
a turbo1 with a 150 HDPI. No part number, it fits the T1 but I am guessing that it's not going to be the right one for the VF250LA

Just got the parts in and it looks like I am going to need the other half of thrust washer as well.
