Me and a few of the boys are heading up to Sacandaga this weekend. None of us have ever been.

Best advice I can give you is to stay in the channel markers when on plane. When the water is low there are many rocks that will ruin your day. I’ve caught them good in the 20-25 feet zone using tubes. Chatter baits and wacky senkos will work as well. Good luck.

I'm heading up there Thursday. Any chance it picked up since the temp dropped and got a little rain?

Big fish always started showing up around labor day. Shallow.
