Monty and Selma were on the front porch swing, having just celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary.
Selma looked to Monty and said lovingly, "You know Monty, you've been a great partner to me and wonderful provider for our family all these years!"
Smitten, Monty turned to Selma and replied, "Thank you my dear! You too have been a great partner, loving wife and amazing mother...but..."
Shocked, Selma said, "'But' what, Monty?"
"But you're just plain awful in the sack...I mean bad. Really, really bad," he responded.
Immediately, Selma backhanded Monty. She hit him so hard that he toppled out of the swing and fell into the bushes beside the porch. Shaken, and completely disheveled, Monty staggered back to porch and sat down on the swing.
"What the hell was that for," he asked.
"FOR KNOWING THE DIFFERENCE!"
