    Prop help!

    New 175 yamaha sho on 462 ranger, currently yamaha Pro 21 pitch x 14.625 prop only turning 5200 rpm , need to increase rpm Help!

    200 rpm for every inch of prop pitch, looks like a 18 or 19 is in your future.

    Thanks Pat ,put a 18 pitch x 14.25 on now turning 5900 rpm with very little loss in hole shot and gained 3mph.
