    Warriors on the Water 2021

We had our first meeting this week and as of right now we are planning next years WOW Tournament!!! Of course there is always a chance that it might not work out but we have to plan as if there will be one!! We have a date May 14th 2021 and sign up will be on 9/11/2020 same time as last year. We have some sponsor commitments and are checking on others, we are also waiting to hear from the military side for their decision on participation.

150 is the number of co-anglers we try to take so yes we need 150. We always have a standby list that we use because of boaters dropping out.

If we end up with more soldiers than boats, I am happy to take two in mine. I'll just drive them around, run the trolling motor (unless they want to) and do my best to put them on fish but not fish myself or at a minimum not weigh in anything I catch. But, probably not even fish. My boat is plenty big and I've got more than enough gear to go around.

Problem is going to be this. People sign up knowing that they aren't or cannot fish. Guess its a thrill of signing up for it. If you know you want to fish it and can fish it, sign up as a back up boater because people will start dropping out left and right. Before you know it, you will be on the boater list. So don't get discouraged.

I've signed up almost every year since 2008. I've had to drop (after signing up) due to deployments twice.

Oh, I'm already in. That's why I offered to take two just in case we don't have enough boats.
