Table Rock was good but Illinois River Tomorrow!

Had an okay time on Table Rock for 3 days with my grandson.
Good morning the first day and downhill after that.
Big excitement was him setting the hook on a 4ft. 15lb. Gar that went airborne! Wow!

But tomorrow I get the Kayak out for a second day with 3 good friends and chase the smallies.
Soak up some sun, wade in the river and put some smallies slime on the kayak!
    All good.

Fishing was off, but river was perfect.
Clouds hit just as the morning heated up.
We caught small ones, but no one landed anything of size.
Low pressure coming may have had the fish off.
But a river with friends in Kayaks is always fun.
