    1st for me.

Had a tourney on the CT river today and while dropshotting for smallies had a tap tap and this little guy ended up in the boat. Fished that river a bunch as a kid but this is my 1st ever walleye. Turned out to be the highlight of my day as I'm beginning to realize I suck at tourney fishing..... adam

Nice! Hope it was a good fight. Last 3 years I've fished that river in December I've caught a dozen or so each trip out, but all of them were dinks and didn't put up any kind of fight.

I hate to sound like “that” guy but when I first fished the Conn river 20 years ago it was a pretty good place to fish a Tournament. Mac,pulled a couple walleye a time or two on that river on a crank.

They are there but have not caught any. Heard of some nice size Walleye caught in the Hinsdale section.

I got a 23" one early summer on the river. It made a really good dinner.

There are plenty in the river and they are getting bigger. It's been a few years since I've been on it but they did love the crankbait

I've been watching some videos on walleye fishing and I may go back over labor day weekend and see if I can put a couple in the boat for dinner.
