OEM or after market voltage regulator

Hey 1995 90hp sn#og197779 3 cylinder stopped charging and voltage regulator melted underneath. Looking at the regulator showing 815279-3 is that the pn# also looks like lots of aftermarket stuff out there when I google that number. Anyone have advice on where and what to replace it with thanks
