I’m a boat owner again, thank god!

Picked up a 04 Nitro NX 750. Hopefully it’s a diamond in the rough. My son is over the moon and excited to get started on this thing.

A little underpowered I'd say, but you can fix that. Glad the kid wants to help he will have stories to tell his friends and I hope it bonds the two of you through the years.

Good time to go hydraulic steering and fierglass over those holes in the transom from screws depending on your budget.

Yes, not having a monthly boat payment will allow for me to build it like I want. pretty excited about the process honestly.

Very nice, he looks excited. Get out there and make some memories, my oldest son is getting ready to turn 37 and he still talks about our fishing trips when he was young.

Check that transom very carefully, it looks like it might possibly be wet. If not, reseal everything before you hang a motor on it.
