Controls question

I have a 1999 Sprint 277 F/S w/ Johnson 115. My control box is shot need to replace.
Having problems in locating the type it has now, a concealed type single lever w/tilt control.
My question is can other control boxes work just the box I know that cables from other engines will not but i can use the ones i have now on my 115.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Go back out to the main page and scroll down to the Evinrude/Johnson page. Make a post in there and let one of the guys that know your motor the best tell you which ones will work.
