Wax or ceramic coating

Thinking about using the new ceramic coatings to my boat but wanted to ask whats best first. FYI i have a wrap on everything below the top cap that is out of 3M marine material i want to apply it to also. My wrap guy said it should be fine. But what have others found?

I used Glidecoat on my boat and in 40+ years of experience in the refinish industry I have never seen a product like this. Example, after coating I went to install my numbers, they would not stick enough to even release from application tape. The shell is very hard. Pictures can be seen on my latest restoration. I'm going to have to plot sandblasting film and blast off the coating and paint on my numbers.
