Tracker 175 TXW Tournament vs. 195 TXW Tournament

My balance isn't very good anymore and I'm concerned about stability. Things being equal, I'd prefer the 175, but would go with the 195 if stability at rest was considerably better.

    Appreciate opinions, thanks.

The 175 is a great boat and pretty stable, but if cost isn't an issue I would go with the 195 with the 150HP motor, it is a much larger and faster boat than the 175.

Balance is a problem I have now and I bought a 195 in 2019 and love it. The deck is large enough to allow for wobble room and helps with the balance. I had to have both knees replaced and at first I didn't think it would work but I am very satisfied with it and the performance.

I went with the 195 for that very reason, well...and the 150hp. The 195 is significantly more stable and spacious. If you can do it, you won't regret the extra stability. Best of luck.

Thanks fellas! I checked beam of both boats and the 195 TXW is 9" wider, makes sense it would be more stable.

You can't fully appreciate just how roomy the 195 is until you get in it and feel it for all its glory. Can only imagine it's pretty stable too.

This year i have fished tournaments out of a 175txw a ranger 198 and my 195txw...wouldnt even think about the 175 if balance is an issue a person moving in the back corner without warning moves the boat pretty good..even my buddy with the ranger 198 mentioned how much less tippy mine is with two on the front deck.

His 150 2 stroke seized up two tournaments in and we had to finish the season with my 195. After fishing out of the front he mentioned how he didn't miss his ranger 198 anymore. He even thought the rough water ride was much better.
