I just read on another site that Barry's is closed and moved to Maine is this true does anybody know for sure. That man could fix anything ,I had heard earlier that his shop was closed because he needed surgery and would be down for a couple months this is not good news for sure ?????

Wow. Hope it's not true. Jim has helped a lot of people on a regular basis. Maybe he'll reopen in Maine.
He will be missed if this is true ,hope not looking for someone who knows something??
I also heard that same thing , closed shop and headed north to Maine . Whatever he is doing I wish him good luck , That man has helped more of us bass guys than anyone will ever know ,
Talk to someone who knows him and yes it is true he packed up and headed north to Maine. Not sure if he will be opening a shop or not up there but will try to keep everyone posted
