    Kayak trailer

I have been shopping for a kayak trailer and wondered what brands folks have had good luck with. I thought about buying a utility trailer and equipping it to haul kayaks, but every one I have looked at is too heavy. When I get it home I will have to disconnect it from the truck and move it around back out of sight.

I am pretty pleased with the specs on the Tennessee Trailers version.

    My dealer pushes the Yakima.
Motorcycle shocks as opposed to some that use auto shocks.
    $3000 +/-.
I have seen others 4 racks and gear storage for $1600.
I am still looking as well.

That's the one I am just about sold on. Gene "Flukemaster" Jensen uses it. I would have to drive about six hours to get it.

I ordered the Com Fab trailer. I have to drive to Atlanta next week to pick it up.

Well, dang. I didn’t see this thread until just now. Apparently it’s too late to suggest Custom Kayak Trailers in Rutledge, TN.

The guy does some really neat stuff, all custom to order - dimensions, mesh boxes, rod tubes, cooler slot, bunks, paint color, wheels...literally everything can be customized

Never to late for others watching and trying to achieve the same acquisition.
