    Question Livewell Leaking

I bought a 2013 Alpha 211 about a month ago. Fished first tournament in it and found that the livewell slowly loses its water. In the driveway I found that it's leaking through the valve and not into the bilge.

Is there a way I can flush/back flush the valve with a hose? Is it even safe (not damage valve and hoses) to do that?

I figure it will need a new valve sooner than later but trying to put it off.

    Any advice will be appreciated.

    Thanks.

It is easier just to replace it. In an emergency you can plug the drain hole there at the transom to get by

Yeah I guess I'll go ahead and bite the bullet. Thanks for the response.

The livewell repair kit from FloRite is not that much money, however getting to the livewell pumps is a bear. The fix is easy, just in a difficult location to get to things (at least on my 2010 Alpha 211)
