    Will a 2.5L optimax lower unit fit into a regular carbureted 2.5L from 2005?

    Sorry guys, i dont have the serial numbers...I am looking at a 2005 2.5 L 150 horsepower Carbureted two-stroke… The lower unit is bad. I have a 2000 150hp optimax with a good lower unit. Are these lower units interchangeable? Once again sorry about the fact that I do not have the serial numbers

    bolt right on, 2.5 should have same 1;87 ratio
