Recommendations for best bass boats with wide beam.

Being a robust gentlemen, it was recommended that beam width would help tremendously.

Only caveat is that I can't afford brand new.

My choice would be a BassCat Lynx or Caracal, but both of those are relatively new, so may be outside your budget.
Second choice would be a 5 series Ranger (519 or 520). There are plenty of those to be had.

Charger 195vf is like standing on a concrete boat dock. Only gripe with it is it narrows really bad up front. Skeeter and Nitro seem to be known for being stable also.

Treat others like you want to be treated when on the water EVEN WHEN IN A TOURNAMENT! No fish is worth having a confrontation because you cut someone off or came in on top of someone.

Appreciate it. Will look into the Charger. Don't see alot of them out on the used boat market compared to others.

I'm a big guy and really like a large and wide front deck and my Nitro Z21 fits the bill. The seats are also adjustable as is the hot foot and even at 6'4" I'm very comfortable.

Champion 196/188/200/198/210 and later 202's. Looking at years 2001 to 2009 or so.

Not much has changed in the last 5-10 years as far as beam, If your looking older then that well maybe there will be a questions that need to be answered.

Most are 96+ inches some carry it more forward then others.

Falcon’s have a 99” beam. I just bought a Predator and so far I love it. It’s wide, faster than most, super soft ride l, and the fit and finish. I rode in a 205 TE first and was super impressed. The Predator is just a little faster. The 205 is priced super competitive with the cheapest models out there. I am not a brand loyalist or one of those fan boys that walk around head to toe dressed in gear from whatever boat brand that bought. I just call it how I see it. I’ve owned 7 boats by 6 different manufacturers in the last 9 years so I feel I have a pretty well rounded perspective.

I also ate my Wheaties as a kid so I think I know what your looking for. Send me a PM and I’ll give you my number if you ever want to talk boats. Good luck with your search there are many great options these days.

If your choices are constrained to budget, you cant go wrong with the new Z series Nitro's.
    Very stable fishing platforms.

Yes but you need to be a 5' 8" contortionist to get seated under the console. I am 6-2 190, it was the most uncomfortable, difficult to get in seat, ever.

I agree. I've seen a couple and I'm sure it is easily the largest deck out there.

Ballistic looks wide especially at the bow and they're fast.
