What setback on new jack plate?

I have a 2003 TR20 with a 225 vmax ox66. It has a 6 inch manual now but I’m thinking of a hydrolic jack plate. Should I get an eight inch or ten inch?

    I would say both 8 or 10 " will be fine. I would prefer the 10" with the 225 vmax on a 20 footer, 8" on a 19 footer and 6" on a 18 footer.

Thanks for your response, I was thinking eight but maybe I should do a ten.

Believe 8" was the sweet spot on the TR20's. Mine also had a 6". I believe an 8" was the optional upgrade back then.
