Ranger 205vs - The good and the bad

Can any current or previous owners of a 205vs offer some feedback on how this boat handles and performs. It is a single console and has a 225 optimax with no jackplate. Would be mostly used on Lake of the Ozarks which gets pretty rough May - September. Looking for any pro vs cons.

I have a 2002 205 vx and it handles great !! I just added a 6" Jack Plate, but only so that I can run in skinny water at times, but it's just my preference. The guy I bought it from 5 yrs ago only ran it on the Ca Delta and it had a Trophy 25 on it. I run many different lakes at different elevations, so I have a Fury 24 on most of the time.

I had a 2002 205DVX was a great boat no jackplate on mine but had a 25p prop that was worked and blueprinted by Crompton
Handle rough water with easy and was a very stable fishing platform
