    tackle storage 2006 Cougar

I moved my tackle from the passenger side (port side) to the driver side (starboard side) on my split storage compartments. Most of my storage is from the driver and passenger seats forward. I have life jackets in the port side so while underway the port side will be relatively empty. I thought I would give it a try as I see most anglers put a lot of plastics in the rod box on the starboard side of their boat. Anyone doing the same or different and what are the results?

Looks good to me. One who cares about top end performance places the heaviest equipment toward the rear.

Does it matter if its the left or right side?
