I bought a boat with a 200hp sho on it but this weekend Kels is going out of town so I hope to swap it over to the Stroker. I’ve been a merc guy for a long time but I’m very impressed with this sho so far. Pretty excited to see what the ol Stroker has in store the next few months

I'm highly contemplating selling my 98 Mariner 300 SuperMag and going with a 200 SHO with Hydro Tech lower unit mods. The fuel mileage would have to be a lot better.

I've got a boat with a 2013 Sho with around 300 hours on it that may be up for sale soon. Once I get the Stroker running and make sure the HPDI is solid I'll be posting the Bumble Bee on the market.

MrMobley, with both rigs set up for Yamis, swap motors, keep the Sho (as long as it is 200 or more HP) and have it flashed.

The HPDI is a Hydrotec Phase 3, so I'd really like to keep it over the Sho just for the extra power. The Sho is a 200 though.

I have a 200hp sho also and will be having hydrotech flash it to 325hp soon. My honest opinion I would keep the sho

The Sho has been great for the bumble bee, but once I do some running with the HPDI it'll be easier to figure out what I'm gonna keep. But I'd imagine I'll keep the HPDI and send the Sho down the road.

What size bee do you have?
That would be hard decision im sure but i think i would keep the sho also and have it flashed. But if the HPDI is already a P3 they may equal out and your not out any money.

It's a 19'. We're considering keeping it, but like you said its a hard decision to make. Once we have a few hours on the HPDI it'll be easier to decide.

I would factor in oil and fuel usage if you run your boat a lot.

We do, but we're children and would rather have that extra 60hp for the expense.

But if we run into issues with it beyond that then we'll probably switch them out. We'll have to see how it does.
