The lake is really no secret. People have been talking about it for years, and the kayakers have been posting pictures/videos of all the giants they catch. Articles everywhere online about it.

Pretty much inviting the whole world to this new, managed lake. But hey... its catch and release only.

Isn't it more fun to let people think that in the day of social media and the internet that somehow this was a huge secret?

We have the same problems up here with people coming up from the South on our Smallmouth waters. It’s not generally the guy with a $70,000 bass boat that you have to worry about filleting up bass. It’s the guys in the tin boats that measure their manhood in filets.

Fishingking11 what are you thinking putting this on here on a national board? NOTHING WORSE THEN PULLING UP TO A RAMP AND LOOKING AT TAGS THAT SAY INDIANA, OH, NH, KY, NY, NC, TN, MO, WV. With very limited parking and already a heavy following why make it more difficult to find a parking place foe locals who LIVE NEAR BY? Not to mention, they book all the hotels up and drive the price up!. I've won maybe a hundred plus tx's and not once did I draw attention to where I was or what I was doing just for the fact its easy to ruin something. Weighed in over 30 pnds numerous times and didn't say a squeak. Not to say this will ruin it but it damn sure helps to add to a crowd to an ALREADY OVER FISHED AREA. Its beyond me why you would do more to draw attention and add more pressure to an area that WILL ALREAY GET HAMMERED. The old adage, why add insult to injury? Injury being all the yanks\ snowbirds. Post is just making things worse for an over crowed series of lakes. How good is it if you cant launch your boat till 8 in the morning because of the wait!!!???? ( oh and you got at the ramp at 4 in the morning!)

Only thing here are snake heads, mud fish and retires\transplants on life support. Covid rampant at local boat ramps!

    All bass belong to me

Lol, as if YouTube doesn’t have more subscribers than BBC. Dude, it’s been talked about for years. I only moved here a few months ago but I’ve known of the place for more than a year. Some big secret when a guy in BFE Tennessee heard of it before this ramp opened the fishery to another segment of fishermen.

Can you provide a good hotel nearby? I have 70 or 80 of my friends from up north - we want to come down and try this lake!
