    Change to new coin box

Gonna change my full seat with flip down center to a coin box on my 2003 ranger 520 vx. Will the new coin boxes with the cup holders fit my boat ?

Call Ranger for direct fitment on year/ vin number
The style of coin box depends on this for your boat
I did it in my 2011 Z520 and matched up perfect

If I recall correctly, the newer coin box is not an exact fit. I tried a quick search and did not find the thread/s that mention this, but someone who has an older 520 may follow this more closely and chime in. I did find some threads where guys constructed their own coin box and got some impressive results.

I had Chris Bailey custom fab a coin box. It fits perfectly as I gave him the exact measurements of what I wanted. Also looks great. Mine is a 2005 Z20 and had a flip down seat.

Maybe a quick check for fit would be to measure the width between your seats, post that dimension, and ask guys on here to measure their coin box.

P.S. I’ll also confess to losing track of which years had drop-in or optional coin boxes. On the newer boats, the coin box is not an option, it’s stock and molded into the hull. Someone remind me for future reference?

I was told by Ranger that for my model, the entire bench seat unit , which included a coin box, would have to be ordered. Cost approximately $1500 shipped. My seats are still very good so decided on $430. custom coin box. I added the non-skid to the top of the box.

I have an 05 520 and the coin box from Ranger did not have a cup holder. It was the only version they had when I ordered the new complete seat.

I ordered a new coin box for my 2003 520 direct from Ranger. It does not have the cup holders. Give them your serial and model number and they will fix one right up. Unfortunately I cannot remember the price or find the invoice.

Not to be a smart ass, but who is storing coins in their bassboat? And if you are, please gather them up and take them to your local grocery store. They could use them right now.
