My CX-21 build started today

It’s gonna be a long two weeks but hopefully I’ll get some pics and updates of the build. I’m making the switch to Caymas from a Ranger Z520C. I am having Steve at https://bassfishin250electronics.com/ finish the rigging when I take delivery. He will be installing a Lowrance HDS16 at the console and a HDS12 & Garmin 1022 w/ Livescope at the bow on Precision Sonar mounts. He’s also installing Power Pole Blades, Charge, Ionic Lithium Batteries, and custom color mercury decals to match the boat.

your dealer should provide you with a build date from the factory. It took 7 weeks from when I ordered in July to delivery in CT. Hopefully you didn't order a yamaha as I heard they are delaying build times.

Guess your lucky! I ordered my CX20pro on 12/20 it's been 12wks and I haven't heard a word. I've called Caymus and left a voice message several days ago with no reply.

If you ordered a Yam, that might be the problem. I was told the other day down there that the Yam had been setting on a ship for a while now, they had to take every one off and load every one back up again due to customs being a problem. Barry also told me that small parts also had a lot of back orders because of you know COVID, not with Caymas but with their suppliers.

I ordered a Mercury, and I still haven't got a return call from Barry. I left him a message last Thursday.

I was originally told 10-12wks. and was told I would receive a occasional update. Well after 12wks with no update, I called my dealer. Their update was vague at best...could come sometime in the next two weeks.

Are you on the Caymas facebook page? There seems to be several Caymas employees that work in the factory and provide updates to people waiting on their build. Hopefully you get your boat soon!
