    Smart Craft gauge water pressure

Engine is a 2018 Mercury 200 Pro xs SN: 2B123564 Boat: 2003 Ranger 519 vx

Running the engine yesterday and I got a low water pressure alarm on my smart craft. My analogue water pressure gauge was reading fine, 20 PSI at wide open but my smart craft gauge was reading 0.0PSI. In the past the two gauges have been very close if not exactly the same. I watched my temp the rest of the trip and was right at 120-125 degrees when I was running on the river.

Does anyone know if there is a reason why my smart craft gauge is not reading water pressure?

    Thanks for the input,

    Brian

Check the water pressure sensor and connections.

Thanks for the advice. So I am assuming that the analogue gauge and the smartcraft gauge use a different water pressure sensor?

Water pressure from the block goes to a T fitting. One side of the fitting goes to the analog gauge via a speedometer type tubing and the other side goes to the water pressure sensor.

Your dash gauge is most likely mechanical, so there is no sensor.
The motor has a WP sensor.

Got it fixed, debris was on the clogging the hose not allowing water to get to the sensor.
