I am installing a transducer at the transom and trying to decide how to route the wire into the boat. Should I tap into the engine rigging hose or drill a new hole and install a clamshell? Could y’all post some pics of how yours are ran?

Actually I noticed the cut out is a bit large. I need to put a little silicone, for water intrusion, water back flow when coming off plane.
