Helix 12s : need to update but card readers don't work all the time

I'm having card reader issues on both of my helix 12 gen 2's. They worked fine when I bought my boat but are now on the blink. I saved the waypoints from both units to 1 sd card and reloaded them to the units just to make sure I done it correctly. I deleted them again and have had issues with the units reading cards ever since. Some say updating my software(1.15) will solve my problems. My question is how do I update without a working card reader? Thanks

Download the FishSmart app and do it from there. Pretty simple, just make sure you have good Bluetooth connection. I update all my units and Ultrex this way.

Make sure you have a good Bluetooth connection for sure. I lost my connection in the middle of the upload and ended up having to send my Mega 3 10 to the factory to have a memory and circuit board replaced.
