wasn't doing good with a slipbobber- cound'nt get the depth right so the night before we went i tied a # 4 arbedeen hook dropshot style with just a heavier spilt shot and caught around 40 redear, wife was fishing a bobber rig but i was getting the big 9" gill. didn't have to worry about what depth i was, just knew i was on the bottom and that's where the big boys were
