Isolated Circuit for Electronics?

I have been seeing posts for running separate dedicated wiring and fuse for electronics as opposed to running off the main panel.

I would think with the widespread use of newer electronics and the requirement to be isolated they would be wired like that from the factory. Is there a need to install a separate block or fuse and wireing in a new boat?

You’d think they would but they still don’t. It’s not that they need to be isolated. They just need larger gauge wiring than what most manufacturers use. My 2018 Ranger uses like 20g wire up to the bow wiring block.
