    Worst round of the year!

Kayak fishing Thursday on a river for smallies was good.
Camped out and slept on a poor mattress on rocks. My back did not like those rocks.
Next day Thunderstorms chased us off the river so went home, dried the gear, and took the bride to couples golf 9 hole event that evening which we tied for first. Didn’t swing too bad and felt okay.
    Had a few club specials.
Got up to play Saturday and didn’t feel all that bad.
But the iron play was horrendous in a spectacular way that I have never had all year.
I felt like an alien had taken over my body.
9 doubles! Shot my high score of the year at 93.
Kept my cool and laughed at the terrible shots. There was a lot of laughing.
2 other in my group were just as bad.
So the bride and I are up early to drive an hour and a half to Shangri La in Grove, Oklahoma to play with another couple who are our traveling golf friends.
I made sure and stayed away from the bar area of the house last night.
I hope I play better today!

    You will.....and enjoy your time...
We are heading to Duke....and then off to Laura Ridge for an adventure. Our golf last couple weeks has been horrendous...so hope for an upswing. No pun intended!!

    I did a little bit. 84.
    Very humid day.
I think being wore out and tired and stiff has had an affect on my swing.
I will take a break today!
    Massage will help.
    Good luck at Duke.

Wife and I had a late morning and decided to tee off at 10:30.
    Swing is back-thank goodness.
But putting was just a little off-no birdies as the ball refused to go into the hole.
Just one of those putting days!
81 was just fine, but could have been so much better.
I will break 80 yet this year.
This weekend would be a good time to do it-Men’s Championship Sat/Sun.
