Anyone have this issue? I'm wondering if the hang was replaced a by a previous owner. There are clearly cup holders that can't be utilized unless the door fully opens. Any input is welcome.

From the angle of the front of your console, that's it, it's open 90°. Those glove box doors where maid by 3rd party, probably R&R Design in Terrell, TX. They made the ones that Champion used.
