Anyone with a micrometer that can help me out?

I have a DIY project in mind but I need to know the exact measurements of a 3/4 boat seat base pin. Thanks,

Springfield threaded pin on a Ranger RT series.

    This ^^^^

And even with that info it can be "iffy". I have found over the years that they can vary immensely from one manufacturer to the other. You need to measure the one you intend to use if you want an EXACT measurement.

Go to Home Depot, Lowes, or even Amazon and buy a cheap set of calipers. Whether they are 100% accurate doesn't matter in this case if you measure both pieces with them.

Just measured an unused 20 year old SWIL-EZE pedestal mount with both mic and caliper. Threaded portion dia measured 705. / .704 and nonthreaded portion was .740.

Thanks to all. I’m looking an making a diy double seat mount and wanted to weld the appropriate size piece of pipe in the square tube to hold the seat post. My pipe choices are .745 ID and .77 ID. I don’t happen to own a mic or calipers in all my junk.
