CMap Genesis question ... logging sonar

On the C-MAP website, there are instructions for logging your sonar and uploading it to have count our maps created. It says it uses your 200kHz sonar data.

I have an Airmar TM150 - which doesn’t have 200kHz capability. Am I out of luck?

Sounds like you can, just has to be an active 2D sonar input.

C-Map Genesis creates bathymetric mapping regardless of frequenzy used, but for bottom composition and vegetation you have to use 200kHz.

I'm using a Tm-150 for logging to Genesis and it works fine. But like Colibri said: no bottom or vegetation layer.
